1. User Responsibilities: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and any activity that occurs under your account.

2. Eligibility: Users must be at least 18 years old to use our platform. By using SkillsCred, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Content Usage: All content, including profiles, project details, and proposals, must adhere to our content guidelines. SkillsCred reserves the right to remove inappropriate content.

4. Third-Party Services: SkillsCred may integrate with third-party services. Your use of such services is subject to their terms and conditions.

5. User Conduct: Users are expected to engage in respectful and professional behavior when using our platform. Harassment, abuse, or any form of disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited.

6. Platform Use: SkillsCred is not responsible for the outcome of projects or transactions between users. Users engage with each other at their own risk.

7. Payment Disputes: Any payment disputes between users must be resolved between the parties involved. SkillsCred is not responsible for mediating payment disagreements.

8. Termination: SkillsCred reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts that violate our terms of use or engage in fraudulent activities.

9. Modification: These terms and conditions may be updated by SkillsCred at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes.

10. Disclaimer: SkillsCred is a platform connecting freelancers and employers. We do not endorse or guarantee the quality of services provided by freelancers.

11. Limitation of Liability: SkillsCred is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our platform.

12. Governing Law: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

13. Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the use of our platform shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

14. For Freelancers:

    1. Profile Accuracy: Provide accurate and up-to-date information on your profile, including skills, experience, and portfolio.

    2. Professionalism: Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with employers and fellow freelancers.

    3. Communication: Use the SkillsCred messaging system for communication and refrain from sharing personal contact details.

    4. Project Proposals: Your project proposals should accurately represent your skills and experience relevant to the project.

    5. Sealed Proposals: Sealed proposals are private and visible only to the project author. Do not disclose sealed proposal details publicly.

    6. Top Proposals: Sticky proposals appear at the top of all proposals. Ensure these proposals are accurate and relevant to the project.

     

15. For Employers:

    1. Project Accuracy: Provide clear and accurate project details, requirements, and expectations.

    2. Prompt Communication: Respond promptly to freelancer inquiries and messages during the project lifecycle.

    3. Fair Selection: Select freelancers based on their skills, experience, and relevance to your project.

    4. Project Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payments to freelancers for completed milestones or projects.

     

16. For Wallet:

    1. Balance Loading: Funds loaded onto your wallet balance are non-refundable.

    2. Withdrawal: Wallet balance can be withdrawn with a 2% processing charge plus an 18% GST on the processing charge.

     

17. For Project Proposals:

    1. Accuracy: All project proposals should accurately reflect your skills, experience, and commitment to the project.

    2. Originality: Do not copy or plagiarize content from other sources when creating project proposals.

     

18. For Sealed Proposals:

    1. Confidentiality: Sealed proposals are confidential and only visible to the project author. Do not share sealed proposal details publicly.

     

19. For Top Proposals:

    1. Visibility: Sticky proposals appear at the top of all proposals. Ensure these proposals are accurate and relevant to the project.

    By using SkillsCred, you agree to these terms and conditions and commit to a professional and respectful use of our platform. Violation of these terms may result in account suspension or termination. SkillsCred reserves the right to update these terms at any time.
